The Power Tractor Repair team recently made the trip down to Las Vegas for the massive CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, and there was plenty to be excited about at the KIOTI Tractor booth.
This year marked a big milestone for KIOTI — their 40th anniversary in North America — and they celebrated by unveiling the latest additions to their growing compact construction lineup: the MX Series Mini Excavators.
We had the chance to sit down with the two machines making their debut: the MX570 and MX350, and we wanted to share our first impressions.

Expanding KIOTI’s Compact Construction Line
Back in 2023, KIOTI entered the compact construction equipment market with the introduction of the SL750 skid steer and the TL750 compact track loader. These machines quickly proved themselves as durable, capable additions to the brand’s lineup.
Now, with the launch of the MX Series mini excavators, KIOTI is continuing to build out that compact construction platform.
And from what we saw at CONEXPO, they’ve come out strong.
MX570: Power and Hydraulic Performance
We had the opportunity to spend some time in the MX570, and one thing was immediately clear — this machine is extremely well equipped.
The MX570 features:
-
48-horsepower engine
-
40 gallons per minute hydraulic flow
-
Factory-installed auxiliary hydraulic connections
-
Standard hydraulic thumb
-
Articulated dozer blade
The articulated blade was especially impressive. It adds a lot of versatility when grading or working on uneven terrain, giving operators more control and efficiency on the jobsite.
Overall, the MX570 feels purpose-built for serious work while still maintaining the compact maneuverability contractors expect from a mini excavator.
MX350: Compact, Capable, and Zero Swing
The MX350 takes a slightly different approach but remains just as capable.
Key highlights include:
-
Zero tail swing design
-
Operating weight just under 9,000 lbs
-
23 horsepower Yanmar engine
-
26 gallons per minute hydraulic flow
-
Factory thumb and auxiliary hydraulics
-
Selectable control patterns (CAT or Deere style)
The ability to switch control patterns on the fly is a great feature for operators who move between different machines regularly.
Despite its compact size, the MX350 delivers solid travel speed and enough hydraulic power to handle a wide range of construction and landscaping tasks.
Built With Serviceability in Mind
Another thing that stood out during our time around these machines was how accessible everything is for maintenance.
KIOTI clearly designed the MX series with technicians and operators in mind:
-
Easy access to hydraulic components
-
Clear sight lines for fluid checks
-
Convenient battery access
-
Well-organized service points
On both the MX570 and MX350, critical maintenance areas are easy to reach — something every equipment owner will appreciate.
A Long-Term Commitment From KIOTI
With the launch of the MX series during their 40th anniversary year in North America, it’s clear that KIOTI is making a long-term investment in the compact construction market.
While the company has been building tractors for decades, expanding into construction equipment requires a different approach. The MX series shows KIOTI is serious about building machines designed for real-world job sites — with the reliability, serviceability, and performance operators expect.
For us at Power Tractor Repair, it was exciting to see these machines up close, and we’re looking forward to seeing them arrive at dealerships soon.
The compact construction lineup from KIOTI is growing quickly, and the MX350 and MX570 look like strong additions to the family.
